Talk

Problem validation

Before designing a solution, make sure there is a problem someone genuinely needs solved.

Building the wrong thing can cost more than building nothing. This talk starts before the solution: understanding the journey of the people with the problem, interviewing without looking for confirmation, and separating a promising instinct from a hypothesis that still needs evidence.

From there, we look at testing alternatives with minimum prototypes and choosing the metrics that make a decision possible. It is a practical way to turn “we have an idea” into real learning before months — and budget — disappear into guesswork.
